After a comprehensive review of the entire system design, we are happy to offer a new generation product to our partners and customers. Our Monopole 2.0 offers remarkable advances in modular design, enabling local assembly and reducing shipment costs.
The Monopole 2.0 sytem offers not only superlative technology and performance but also ensures cost efficiency in all areas of the process – packaging, manufacturing, logistics, installation and operation.

The new monopole 2.0 has improved yields by 12.5% through the use of the latest high performance solar cells.
Re- engineered Lower Mast
The lower mast is now 3 metres high, constructed of steel and now securely houses all batteries and control units.
Increased Energy Storage Capacity
Up to 3 days autonomy in terms of energy storage capacity can now be contained inside the mast - saving on expensive battery housings within the foundations.
Passive Cooling = Improved Performance
The new mast has a passive ventilation system that cools the control and energy storage units, improving performance and system life. Data from our installation in Yas Island has shown us the value of this development.
RGB Glow Lines
The modular glow line system, a design element unique to Scotia, is now significantly improved and can be colour-configured to client specifications.
New Standard Lamp Arm Design
The mast cap and lamp arm have been re-designed to perfect the seamless connection between the Monopole and any element used in our open lamphead design philosophy.
Improved Packaging & Logistics Costs
The new Monopole 2.0 has been tailored to a modular packing and transport system that operates with standard containers, ensuring the lowest possible logistics costs for our clients.
Monopole 2.0 is now in full production, and the first140 masts are being delivered in Q1 2015.
